"The Society for Asphalt Technology is an association of individuals committed to the advancement of technical excellence, and to the development of professional capacity in the understanding and application of bituminous products and services in South Africa"

 

THE AIMS AND OBJECTIVES OF SAT FOCUS ON MEMBER DEVELOPMENT BY:

  • Promoting the knowledge of asphalt technology and ensuring that this technology is accessible to all members;
  • Stimulating discussion, debate and interaction between members on all questions affecting the asphalt industry;
  • Supporting and protecting the status of SAT members.

Membership of SAT is available to all asphalt industry practitioners who meet the Society's minimum requirements of age and experience. Applicants may apply by submitting the application form (click here), but the Society reserves the right to screen all applications and to verify educational qualifications and experience.
